What I Want for My Children

I want my children to explore who they are. I want them to dream. I want them to be curious about life. I want them to travel and experience other cultures. I want them to really explore what peaks their interests and motivates them. I want them to get excited about learning new things and take advantage of learning moments. I want them to love without fear. I want them to meet as many people as they can. I want them to work as many jobs as possible. I want them to play every sport. I want them to push themselves past their boundaries. I want them to become spiritual. I want them to forgive. I want them to feel anger and turn it into a positive energy. I want them to become competitive within themselves. I want them to exercise constantly. I want them to graduate college with a degree they love. I want them to never ask, “What do you do?”, rather, “Who are you?” I want them to know themselves. I want them to love themselves. I want them to give to others. I want them to share their gifts. I want them to fear mediocrity. I want their success to be determined by them not me. I want them to create art. I want them to raise the bar. I want them to take their time. I want them to love each other. I want them to feel true love. I want them to remember how big the universe really is. I want them to live outside of their comfort zones. I want them to remember me. I want them to know that I will always be with them. I want them to know that they will always be my greatest accomplishment. I want them to know that I do everything for them.
